Appeal from an order of the Supreme Court (Mulvey, J.), entered March 3, 2005 in Tompkins County, which denied defendants’ motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint.

Defendants own a German Shepard dog named Caesar. Plaintiff Todd Brooks, then seven years old, and plaintiff Steven Brooks, his father, attended a gathering at defendants’ home. According to Todd, the dog growled at him when they first arrived, but was friendly after that.
