The plaintiffs in error were indebted to the defendant in error the Norbhrup Banking Company, upon promisory notes, one for $800, and one for $8400. Suit was brought, upon these notes, and the amounts of certain insurance policies, due to the plaintiff in error Anna Potter, were garnished in the hands of the insurance companies.
