Roger E. Smith was convicted of kidnapping, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and aggravated sodomy. David H. Mosley was convicted of rape, kidnapping, robbery, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. A third defendant, Charles R. Hardison, died before trial. The State’s evidence showed the victim was kidnapped from the parking lot of a bar in Glynn County by Hardison, who used the threat of a 9 mm gun.
