for the Court:
¶ 1. Travis White pleaded guilty to a charge of murder and was convicted on April 23, 1992. He was sentenced to life imprisonment in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Nineteen years later, on August 5, 2011, White filed a motion for post-conviction relief (PCR), alleging a defective indictment. He also filed a motion for permission to proceed out of time on August 12, 2011.
