| TThis is a direct appeal under La. Const, art. V, § 5(D) by the defendant Lamondre-Tucker. 1 In November 2008, a Caddo Parish grand jury indicted the defendant for the first degree murder of Tavia Sills, in violation of La. R.S. 14:30.'
