TYSON, Judge.
Leon Curry was charged with and convicted of operating an overweight vehicle, in violation of the laws of the State of Alabama. The trial judge imposed a fine on the appellant of $500.
Donald Ralph Berry, Jr. testified that he is an Alabama State Trooper assigned to the enforcement division of the Department of Public Safety, and he runs the weight detail for six counties, including Marengo County.
