After verdict for the plaintiff in the sum of $4,694.50, this case comes to the Law Court from the Superior Court, Aroostook County, on the defendant’s motion for a new trial.

The writ in this action was dated June 29, 1950. The writ was served on June 30, 1950 and was made returnable at Houlton “on the second Tuesday of June, 1950.” There was no term, provided by law, in June at Houlton.
