The bill of complaint in this case was filed by the appellant against two daughters of his deceased wife by her first marriage, for the purpose of having declared null and void two separation agreements which he had made with his wife after marriage, and of having established his statutory right as surviving spouse in certain real estate conveyed to the defendants by his wife about six months before her death. The defendants set up the agreements as a bar to any right appellant might have in the property left them by their mother. The issue before the Court was the validity of these…
