The demurrers are both general and special, and consist of numerous grounds. Among other reasons assigned by demurrants as to why the petition should be dismissed are, misjoinder of parties defendant; absence of necessary parties, to wit, the Governor and Secretary of State; that if plaintiffs have any right to contest the election on the ground of illegal or fraudulent votes, such right should have been asserted before declaration of the consolidation of the returns and the proclamation of the Governor declaring the amendment adopted; that the superior court of Richmond County…
