OPINION
McKEE, Circuit Judge.
Check Investors, Inc., Check Enforcement, Inc., Jaredco, Inc., Barry Sussman (hereinafter collectively “Check Investors”) 1 and Charles T. Hutchins 2 appeal the district court’s grant of injunctive relief and $10.2 million in fines in this action that the Federal Trade Commission initiated against them. The FTC claimed that their debt collection practices violated the Federal Trade Commission Act (“FTC Act”), 15 U.S.C. §§ 41 et seq., and various provisions of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (“FDCPA”), 15 U.S.C. §§ 1692 et seq.
