1Opinion of the Court

AMY, Judge.

liThe defendant pled guilty to theft by fraud over $500.00, a violation of La.R.S. 14:67(A). He was sentenced to serve six years at hard labor with the sentence to run consecutively with the sentences imposed on five other convictions. The defendant appeals, asserting that the sentence is excessive and that the trial court erred in ordering him to pay restitution to the victims of the crimes after he was *651sentenced. We affirm the defendant’s sentence, but vacate the Judgment of Restitution. We remand for further proceedings.
