Willie Littleton, an African-American, sued his employer, Pilot Travel Centers (“Pilot”), for race discrimination and retali ation in violation of Title VII, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000e-2(a), 3(a), and the Arkansas Civil Rights Act (“ACRA”), Ark.Code Ann. § 16-123-101 et seq. The district court 1 granted Pilot summary judgment on the retaliation claims, denied summary judgment on the race discrimination claims, and held a bench trial on the latter claims.
