Michael Lee appeals the judgment of the motion court denying his Rule 24.035 motion for postconviction relief following an evidentiary hearing. Mr. Lee sought to vacate his conviction for stealing, Section 570.030, RSMo 2000, and sentence of ten years imprisonment. He claims that trial counsel was ineffective because she erroneously advised him to enter a guilty plea before determining whether the 180 day time limitation outlined in Section 217.460 of the Uniform Mandatory Disposition of Detainers Law had expired.
