Mabry, J.:
Motion to dismiss an appeal in chancery. The decree appealed from was rendered on the 3d day.of May, 1897, and the entry of the appeal was on the *67828th day of the same month to the first day of the following June term of this court. The first day of the June term was the 8th day of the month. The only ground of the motion which we deem it necessary to consider is that the appeal was taken contrary to law, in that no sufficient time intervened between the date of the appeal and the first day of the term of this court to which it was returnable.
