Petitioner, an attorney, became a Judge of the Buffalo City Court December 27, 1977. Before taking office she practiced law with her husband, also an attorney in the Buffalo area. She initiated this proceeding to review a determination of the State Commission on Judicial Conduct censuring her for certain acts of judicial misconduct occurring during 1978 and 1979, acts by which petitioner appeared to demonstrate favoritism to her husband and his clients.
