Appellants filed suit in the Circuit Court of the City of St. Louis, seeking specific performance of an alleged oral contract of adoption, alleged to have been made by Hugh Campbell, deceased. The trial court denied the relief prayed for and appellants appealed. Appellants contend that the trial court erred in denying the relief prayed for, while respondents contend that the evidence was insufficient to support an oral adoption.
