TERNUS, Justice.
We are asked to decide two issues in this case. First, did the district court have the power to vacate an adoption decree after the death of the adoptive parent? We conclude it did not.
Second, should the social security benefits paid to the parents on behalf of their child be placed in trust and used to pay court costs and attorney fees incurred by the parents? Although we think under the circumstances of this case that the social security benefits already received by the child should be placed in trust until the child reaches majori ty, we do not believe these funds should be…
