Seldin Co. v. Calabro

Amberleah Calabro rented an apartment from Seldin Co., d/b/a Featherstone Apart ments (Featherstone), an apartment complex receiving Section 8 assistance from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). In May 2003, Featherstone gave Ms. Calabro a notice to pay unpaid rent, see Iowa Code § 562A.27(2) (2003), alleging she owed part of April rent, May rent, and additional charges, including a late fee.
