This is an action brought by the plaintiff against the defendant, as sheriff of Hughes county, to recover the value of certain personal property, alleged to have been wrongfully taken and converted by the. defendant, claimed by plaintiff as exempt property under the provisions of the stat*281ute providing for additional exemptions..
