After spending part of the evening riding in and around Rutland with three girls and two other men, the respondent and one of the men, named Poalucei, started to take one of the girls to her home in North Clarendon in the respondent’s automobile. The respondent rode with the girl on the back seat. Poalucei drove the car. Their way led past the entrance to the fair grounds in Rutland.
