Defendant-appellant National Broadcasting Company, Inc. (“NBC”) appeals from a judgment of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (Kathleen A. Roberts, Magistrate Judge) ordering that NBC pay overtime to plaintiffs-appel-lees, all of whom were employed by NBC or its New York flagship station, WNBC, as television news writers, editors, producers, or field producers at the rate specified under the Fan- Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”), 29 U.S.C. § 201 et seq.
