Some cases are easy. For example, consider a case in which a former police officer sues over her dismissal. The facts show that for two hours or so, while she was supposed to be on patrol, she stepped behind the counter at a Kangaroo convenience/gas mart and ran a cash register— while wearing her police uniform.
