This appeal is from a judgment of the Superior Court reversing a decision of the Washington State Employment Security Department (Department). The Department had awarded unemployment compensation benefits to Diana R. Burger, a former employee of Cowles Publishing Co. (Cowles) when it was determined that her voluntary unemployment was for “good cause” within the meaning of RCW 50.20.050. The decision of the Department was reversed on appeal to the Superior Court, and unemployment benefits were denied, resulting in this appeal.
