HARTZ, Circuit Judge.
This appeal raises an interesting issue concerning the authority of a district court to consider a plaintiffs motion to set aside his own voluntary dismissal of his complaint. Jonathan Schmier, proceeding pro se, sued McDonald’s LLC for discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex, and disability, and also alleged retaliation.
