This appeal is brought by the respondent below and appellant, Polly A.S., 1 from a final order entered by the Circuit Court of Grant County. By order entered July 10,1992, the circuit court awarded custody of the appellant’s twenty-one-month-old son, Jonathan C.K., to the child’s natural father who was the petitioner below and appellee herein, John D.K. Polly A.S. asserts on appeal that the circuit court erred in reviewing this case because John D.K. did not file exceptions to the family law master’s recommended order finding that she should retain custody of Jonathan.
