MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

DANNY C. REEVES, District Judge.

Defendant Juan Francisco Lopez was stopped by a Kentucky State Police (KSP) Trooper near Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, after being clocked at a speed of 106 miles per hour. Lopez was arrested and placed in the back of the trooper’s vehicle. Thereafter, the Defendant’s automobile was searched incident to his arrest. The search revealed 73 grams of crack cocaine, scales, and a firearm.
