delivered the opinion of the court:

The sole issue presented in this appeal is whether the trial court erred in denying defendants’ motion to open a judgment entered by confession against defendants.

It appears that on March 21,1972, defendants executed a promissory note to plaintiff in the amount of *32,499.60. The note authorized plaintiff’s attorney, in the event of a default, to confess judgment for the balance of the debt due plus reasonable attorney’s fees.
