After petitioner failed to pay respondent amounts owed under the property division provisions of the judgment dissolving the parties’ marriage, respondent petitioned for a sheriffs sale of the parties’ former marital residence.1 2Peti-tioner appeals from the order granting respondent’s petition, arguing that the trial court erred in determining that he was not entitled to a homestead exemption as provided in ORS 23.240(1).
