delivered the opinion of the court:

This is an appeal by the defendants from sentences imposed by the trial court following a determination of guilt in a bench trial. Defendants Matthews and Reed were sentenced to a term of 5 to 12 years in the Illinois State Penitentiary for armed robbery and defendant Wilson was sentenced to a term of 7 to 15 years. In this court, it is contended (1) that the State failed to prove the defendant Reed guilty of armed robbery beyond a reasonable doubt, (2) that the prosecution of defendants Wilson and Matthews, each 17 years of age,…
