OPINION

SANDERS, Judge.

The Defendants have appealed from a jury verdict awarding damages for personal injuries to the Plaintiffs predicated upon the doctrine of res ipsa loquitur.

The Defendants-Appellants, James C. Yancey and his wife Nella Pha Yancey, are dairy farmers in Scott County. Some six years prior to the accident which is the basis of this litigation, a producing natural gas well was drilled on the Defendants’ farm.
