SULLIVAN, Judge:

During February and March 1994, appellant was tried by a general court-martial composed of officer and enlisted members at Fort Clayton, Panama. Contrary to his pleas, he was found guilty of assault with intent to commit rape, indecent assault, and communicating a threat, in violation of Article 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC § 934. He was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement for 2 years, forfeiture of $800 per month for 24 months, and reduction to Private E-l.
