The Chancellor,
The bill states that, on or about the 1st of February, 1869, the defendant, Ezra W. Keeler, was indebted to Heman Keeler, of Rome, New York, in the sum of $20,000, and, to secure the payment thereof in five years, with interest, payable semi-annually, he, by his mortgage of that dale, mortgaged to the latter the goods and chattels mentioned in a schedule annexed to the instrument, and then being in the Clarence Cotton Mills, at Groveville, in Mercer county, in' this state.
