WORKMAN, Justice:

This case is before this Court upon an appeal from a final order of the Circuit Court of Berkeley County, West Virginia, awarding costs pursuant to West Virginia Rule of Civil Procedure 68(c). Under Rule 68(c), if a defendant has made an offer of judgment and the plaintiff subsequently recovers a final judgment in an amount less than the defendant’s offer, the court must award the costs incurred by the defendant following the offer of judgment to the defendant.
