This is a declaratory judgment action in which the plaintiffs seek a judgment declaring that the defendant Lumbermens Mutual Casualty Company (Lumbermens) is legally obligated to pay that portion of any judgment which may be entered in favor of the plaintiffs against the defendants Karen L. Vascellaro and Susan J. Vascellaro in excess of the policy limits of an automobile liability insurance policy issued by the Aetna Casualty and Surety Company, as insurer, to the defendant Karen L.
