This suit was instituted as a possessory action by plaintiff, who prayed that she be quieted in her possession and ownership of a certain described tract of land located in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana, as against the disturbance of the defendant. After some preliminary pleadings the defendant answered, alleging his ownership of the tract of land involved and calling in warranty the St. Denis Securities Company, Inc., the Rio Hondo Land Company, Inc., and James W.
