OPINION

ALFRED T. GOODWIN, District Judge:

A Swedish national whose petition for United States citizenship received an adverse recommendation from the hearing examiner has asked for and received a hearing in open court under 8 U.S.C. § 1421.

Jeanne Marguerite Mortyr filed her petition in proper form and was examined by an officer of the Immigration and Naturalization Service. The examiner conducted a detailed hearing and filed his recommendation together with a verbatim transcript of the hearing.
