At the primary election held on the 12th day of September, 1914, under the provisions of Act 151, S. L. 1913, John W. Oathcart and George A. Davis were candidates on the republican ticket, and the petitioner was a candidate on the democratic ticket, for the office of city and county attorney for the city and county of Honolulu. At said primary election there were cast for the various candidates for delegate to Congress in the city and county of Honolulu votes aggregating a total of 7,182.
