Defendant was indicted for the murder of E.N., contrary to N.J.S.A. 2C:ll-3a(l) and/or (2) (count one); distribution of cocaine to a minor, contrary to N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5a(l) and 2C:35-8 (count two); and endangering the welfare of a child, contrary to N.J.S.A. 2C:24^4a (count three). In a separate indictment, defendant was charged with possession of heroin, contrary to N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10a(l). Defendant entered into a plea agreement with the State.
