Edith Marion Wolfe (Wolfe), as special administrator of the estate of her husband, George Wolfe, filed a medical malpractice complaint in the circuit court of Cook County against Westlake Community Hospital and Doctors Morelli and Cemiak six months after her husband died from a cancerous condition that might not have been fatal had it been discovered earlier by either Dr. Morelli or Dr. Cerniak in his treatment of Mr. Wolfe.
