The Kentucky Bankers Associasion (to which we will hereinafter refer as the “Association”) is a Kentucky corporation, and in 1938, during which the matters herein involved occurred, J. C. Nichols, who resided in Payette County, was its president. By its proper authority there was established and published a standing offer of reward of $500 for the arrest and conviction of each person who robbed a member bank.
