This is an action at law 1 brought by an engineering corporation (Main) to recover fees for services rendered in designing and supervising construction of a part of the Massachusetts turnpike. The case was referred to an auditor. A judge of the Superior Court heard the case on the auditor’s report, a statement of counsel about what an engineer would testify concerning one item, and certain minor documentary evidence.
