This suit is on a benefit certificate for $2,000 in a fraternal life insurance society on the life of Mary J. Crawford. The certificate makes the application and by-laws a part of the contract, which provide for the payment of monthly dues of $3.78, to become due on the first of each month, but allows payments to be made at any time during such month. The payments are to be made monthly without notice and it is made the duty of each member to pay the secretary of the local council or send same to the secretary of the society at its home office in Monmouth, Illinois, during each month the…
