liCARAWAY, Judge.

Urging the protection of Louisiana’s teacher tenure law, Charles Milstead, Jr., the superintendent of schools for Jackson Parish, filed this action against the school board seeking to require the board to renew his contract of employment for the position of superintendent. The trial court dismissed his suit finding that no cause of action exists for a superintendent of schools under the teacher tenure law. Based upon our review of the specific law providing for the office of the parish superintendent of schools, we agree that the teacher tenure law does not govern the school…
