Background

Plaintiff brought suit on October 23, 1986 alleging defendants’ use of the name Connecticut Eye Physicians & Surgeons, P.C. infringes plaintiff’s tradenames Connecticut Eye Center and Connecticut Eye-Surgi Center. Such use, plaintiff claims, constitutes unfair competition under Connecticut statutory and common law and violates federal trademark law.
