In 1925 Ercolano and Iaccarino built two dwelling-houses on two separate lots of land in East Haven, one known as numbers 88-90 Boston Avenue, and herein referred to as house number one, the other 84-86 Boston Avenue, referred to as house number two. The plaintiff furnished nearly all of the lumber for house number two arid a substantial part of that for number one. No separate record or account was kept by the plaintiff of the items furnished for each house, but, instead, an open, running account for all the materials furnished for both houses.
