In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the defendants appeal, as limited by their brief, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Ash, J.), dated April 1, 2015, as granted that branch of the plaintiffs motion which was for summary judgment on the issue of liability.

Ordered that the order is affirmed insofar as appealed from, with costs.

Contrary to the plaintiffs contention, the order appealed from was not entered on the defendants’ default such that the defendants are not aggrieved by the order (cf. CPLR 5511; Mixon v TBV, Inc., 76 AD3d 144 [2010]). The…
