INTRODUCTION

The plaintiffs, who are food and beverage service workers, brought this action against Four Seasons Hotels, LTD. and Four Seasons Massachusetts, Inc. (collectively “Four Seasons”), alleging that the defendants improperly retained service charges included on customer bills for various events held at the Boston hotel in violation of G.L.c. 149, §152A.
