Richard Harnish, a chiropractor and owner of rental properties, and his wife, Doris Jane, sued the Herald-Mail Co., Inc., which owns and publishes two newspapers in Hagerstown, The Daily Mail (an evening edition), and The Morning Herald, and Philip Ebersole, a reporter, on an amended declaration in three counts.
