This was a suit in equity, commenced October 24,1907, in the United States Circuit (afterwards District) Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, by the Hitch-man Coal & Coke Company, a corporation organized under the laws of the State of West Virginia, against certain citizens of the State of Ohio, sued individually and also as officers of the United Mine Workers of America.
