The present case is in the nature of habeas corpus proceeding’s and is concerned with the rights of a fugitive at criminal extradition - proceedings.

Doyle Rutledge was convicted of grand larceny- and burglary second degree in Alabama. He es-r caped from custody and was arrested on December 4, 1968 in Ingham County. He was arraigned on a fugitive warrant issued by the Ingham County prosecutor’s office on December 6, 1968. Bond was set in the amount of $100,000.
